Naxxar Victorians surprised league leaders, San Giljan Saints in what was a highly contested fixture as we reach the end of the 2017/18 season in MAFA. The boys gave the performance of a lifetime as they battled versus a team which have been unbeaten all season.

We regret to inform that on this special day, we have been given sad news of the departure of our new coach, Luke Camilleri from the Naxxar Victorians team after choosing to progress onto another rival club effective immediately.
The Victorians missed their chance to go into the Top 3 of the MAFA Division 2 table yesterday afternoon. The tightly contested match ended in a 4-4 draw with both teams hitting at each other throughout the match. Despite not getting the win, coach, Luke Camilleri still managed to maintain his unbeaten record in the second round as the Victorians now make it 3 matches without a loss.
Matchday is back! This afternoon, the victorians host third place Tal-Qroqq Versity at St. Lucija Grounds. The boys will be pushing for this very position after winning the past two matches and going just one point under Tal-Qroqq. Unlike our usual games, this match coincides with a special occasion: St. Patrick's Day! The Boys will be looking to be in favour of the luck of the Irish today as they face tough opposition from a team who has shown they are a team to beat.
Naxxar Victorians made it two wins out of the first two matches in the second round of the MAFA League last weekend. This came after the Derby win against Mosta two weeks ago. Victorians coach, Luke Camilleri stretched his winning streak since taking this important role at the club. The match played at the usual St. Lucia grounds, proved to be a great spectacle for both teams as well as their respective supporters.
Matchday is finally back! In Matchday 07, the Naxxar Victorians play Mqabba Albions with the hopes of getting closer to third place. After the derby versus Mosta, the boys will be aiming to make the most of this fixture by getting all three points.
Former player, Luke Camilleri (known by most as Barney) has taken over the reigns at Naxxar Victorians for the rest of the 2017/18 season. Following the win versus Mosta Vikings, the team has decided to give our new coach the announcement he deserves.
Naxxar Victorians won the Derby of the North last Saturday afternoon against their closest rivals, Mosta Vikings. The match played at 5PM at the St Lucia grounds, provided a great spectacle worthy of being called a derby. This was both team's chance of revenge over each other after the 0-0 draw in late September. Fortunately enough, Naxxar emerged as victorians at the end of this important fixture.
THE DERBY IS BACK! The Naxxar Victorians play local rivals, Mosta Vikings in Matchday 06 of the MAFA League. Following the debut game which ended in a 0-0 draw, the boys will be looking forward to facing Mosta once more. The teams have both upgraded their list of players since Day One and will be fielding an improved set on the day.
Following a long three weeks of waiting, Matchday is finally back! The Naxxar Victorians play first division leaders, Marsa St. Michaels in the Preliminary round of the Knock-out. This will be regarded as probably the toughest fixture of the season as the Victorians face a very difficult side to beat in the very early stages of the cup. The MAFA League is back for the Naxxar Victorians this afternoon when they play current runners up, Qormi Hotspurs in Matchday 05. The team plays this tough fixture just a few weeks after their encounter with the same, Qormi in the Christmas Cup last month when they lost 2-1 in the Quarter Final (Read more here). The Victorians will be looking to bounce back after a string of not so encouraging results, despite the good performance by the boys in the Cup match. The Naxxar Victorians' experience within the MAFA Christmas Cup was halted by a tough Qormi Hotspurs side this afternoon at Zurrieq Grounds. Despite playing at a much better level than usual, two goals coming from corners cost the team a place in the semi-finals.
Today marks the Victorians' first Christmas Cup outing in the MAFA League. The team plays fellow Second Division league team, Qormi Hotspurs. After the team's last match vs San Giljan Saints, the Victorians will be looking to leave the pitch with a good performance and ideally a an even greater result.
This week's opponents, San Giljan Saints proved to be too much for the Victorians in their MAFA Matchday 4 fixture at St. Lucia grounds. The Victorians struggled to get a shot on goal and this put the Saints in a dominant position from the start.
After matchday 2's defeat away to Tal-Qroqq, the Naxxar Victorians will be out to let go of the past and focus on getting their first full three points this afternoon. Naxxar Victorians president, Karl Borg visited Naxxar's favourite boy, Nigel Spiteri this past week. Spiteri, who is currently waiting for treatment in Sutton, UK has always been a fan of both Naxxar Lions and the Victorians and so, a visit from Borg came as a pleasant surprise.
Halloween proved to be quite horrific for the Naxxar Victorians against Tal-Qroqq Versity yesterday evening. What started as a dream debut for striker, Connor Muchmore who scored right at the start of the match, ended up a nightmare right until the last whistle.
The Naxxar Victorians will be out to get their first full three points this afternoon, when they play against Tal- Qroqq Versity. Matchday 3 comes after two consecutive draws for the Victorians, and the boys are more than ready to try and change this streak into wins.
The Victorians proved to be a force to be reckoned with yesterday night against current MAFA Second Division leaders, Qormi Hotspurs. The teams played against the rough winds of the the Sliema grounds in Tigne. This came to be quite the challenge as they struggled to move the ball as much as they wished. However the Victorians made good use of the elements to secure a fine 4-1 victory.
The Naxxar Victorians' second official match in the MAFA League has ended in a draw after a tough game against Mqabba Albions. An early Salif Sanogo goal sent the Victorians into ecstacy, it being our first official goal in MAFA.
